Other pop up killers, banner ad removers or anonymizers limit your freedom: skipped content is difficult to review; anonymity prevents automatic access to the sites that need your ID.
ViewShield's unique features make it easy to do what you need:

Ad blocker allows to skip any content you want, separately or together: banners, other static pictures; multimedia, scripted animations; frames or iframes; all or from blacklist.
Separately control content from the main site and from 3rd parties (usually advertisers). Hide any image on any site using Selective Display menu.
Unique pop up blocker makes any allowed pop up well-behaved:
- block, or show the pop up as a button on the taskbar but don't load it;
- load such pop up only after a click on its taskbar button;
- automatically close all pop ups when their parent site disappears.
Privacy guard offers an easy way to make frequent changes:
- get recognized, or remain anonymous;
- advertise your interests, or prevent tracking;
- change your privacy per click or per site.
Security manager lets you change your settings during the click:
- press left mouse button over the link and hold it down;
- see the Shield Menu after a small delay;
- drag your cursor to any shield icon and release the mouse button.
The cursor will jump back and complete the click after the new mode is set. |
